We're looking for chefs of all levels to work for giraffe restaurants, now one of the most popular restaurants in the UK. First established in London back in the summer of '98, giraffe have since grown to 37 restaurants nationwide with more on the way. We don't take ourselves too seriously but take what we do very seriously and several awards later we have a reputation for not only great food but great service too.
Experience preferred but not essential, a great attitude will be enough and we'll provide all the necessary training.
Role & responsibilities:
- You'll need to be: positive, confident, friendly, hard working and enthusiastic
- Ability to prepare, cook & present all dishes in accordance with company standard, maintaining quality, consistency & speed of service in our busy restaurant operation.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Clear, confident and effective communication skills
- A good understanding of the English language
Applicants must:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK* (have a full valid work permit)
- be available in the UK for interview & trial (if required)
- be available to begin within 2 weeks
- applicants must be able to provide one strong reference
- Evidence of a valid National Insurance card*
